That's one reason I like herons: they're  fascinating and magnificent in the way they stay rooted to the same spot along the shore, but I love them most when they’re stepping awkwardly around the shallows, like a stiff older gent in a dapper suit.

It turns out that herons are also known as a metaphor for the ability to stand on your own two feet (no matter how skinny your legs may be).

That works perfectly with the work I love doing, for companies where diversity, inclusion, sustainability and giving back are part of the picture.

I like things that are beautiful & ridiculous.
