To thrift store chain Savers/Value Village, Halloween is like Christmas. Because unlike most retail chains, Halloween is the holiday most essential to the chain's yearly retail sales success. When pop-up Halloween stores threatened to put a dent in Savers' sales, the company needed to remind consumers that only Savers carries a huge assortment of used and new costumes at reasonable prices.


The solution was a campaign urging citizens to demand a world where brand new glitter face paint and grandma's donated shoes could live in harmony, to throw off the shackles of overpriced, fly-by-night Halloween stores, to Stand Up and Be Costumed.
