The childcare crisis in America is exponentially worse for parents of children with disabilities. Every single day, 187 of those kids are expelled from preschool.

 

Northwest Center is helping address that crisis by training preschools to include all children. I concepted this piece to help drive home the shocking realities of this crisis, also driving donations at the nonprofit’s annual fundraiser.

A preschool chair is spotlighted to grab guests’ attention and demonstrates just how small the children are who are being expelled. The accompanying banner shares not only the shocking statistics about preschool expulsion but the even more shocking words parents have heard from preschool staff.
